Google Document

I just created a very rough draft of the google document that we needed to create for our assignment this week. It has to be a detailed summary of what are students will be doing for their project, and how they will communicate with other students in another country. I tried to put it so you can see it and edit it, but let me know if you can't access it.
Bethany...I need your e-mail address to give you access to it.
Please feel free to add things to it or delete things....like I said, it is a very rough draft. :)

Next Assignment

Hey Group...I was just looking at our next assignment. We need to create an assignment for our students to learn about a different region; they need to be able to compare and contrast things. I was thinking that we could do a different region in the US or in a completely different country. I thought that it would be cool to have our students discuss food, obliviously, with another student. They could compare and contrast things that are grown around where they live, what they eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, etc... I thought that the students could exchange a special family recipe with their web-penpal. Our "students" could then put their family and their penpals family recipes into the classroom cookbook.
What are other ideas?

Evaluations

I am going to put all three website evaluations on the same worksheet, and then that way it comes time to combine them all if we all put them on one sheet it would be easier. Am I understanding it correctly that all sites evaluated need to be on one sheet to turn in?

My evaluations are done, how are we wanting to combine them all?

Web Reviews 3

I picked these websites:

Web Reviews 2

I am going to take a look at these websites tonight and check their validity, etc:

for my web reviews.

Websites

I was just wondering what you both wanted to do for our website evaluations. I was thinking that instead of all three of us finding and researching similar websites that deal with the same issues, maybe we could each focus on a couple specific topics that we would like to cover and find websites that pertain to those issues. For example, one of us could search for health and nutrition sites and another could find more information on gathering recipes and making a classroom cookbook. I figure that we all research different things and learn a lot of information about just a few different topics, then we can come together at the end with a much stronger project. Let me know what you were thinking and what you would like to research. I'm pretty much open for anything! :)

Concept Map B

I can't get it any bigger without it taking over the page.  You should be able to follow this link to a read-only copy.

Direction for project

Hi there...

I just thought that I would get started and see what we wanted to accomplish with this project. I like the ideas that we have so far...some type of children's food education and experimentation with a community fundraiser. I feel like we should have some focus on nutrition and healthy choices, and I think that it would be great if we had students creating recipes and making a classroom cookbook too.

Is there anything specific that we need to cover? Is there anything else that we want to cover?
