Podcast #2

Here is what I was thinking for what each of us could do (from what was suggested online)

1. why you are using Project-based Learning
2. talk about what has been done so far
3. where you are headed

Two strategies from the book
1.
2.

** Not sure on the strategies does anyone have any ideas as to what we could use?

Also, who wants each job??

  1. Kate - this sounds like a great start for our podcast. It's due next Sunday, so I feel like we should get started on writing what we are going to say for our parts this week. I can start working on the 1st part...why we're using project-based learning. Should we use another Google document?

I'm also confused on the strategies. I was thinking that we could pick something from chapters 4 and 6 which are titled strategies for discovery and implementation strategies. I guess I'm not sure what to focus on...do we just pick something and call it a strategy or are they specifically listed? I don't remember reading them.

    1. How about these strategies:
1 - Be flexible, let students' interests and curiosity drive the learning experience (CH. 4 page 63)
2 - Set the Stage for Independent Inquiry: think about teaching prerequisite knowledge or skills students need in order to work with a degree of independence in their investigations (CH. 6 page 100)

Not sure if these are strategies...I'll keep looking for some more
